Training and methodology Department

Main tasks and functions:

Regional office (north area) is a leading subdivision of the Training and methodology Department within the SE “SIRC “Registru”, which is located in the north of the country. It provides high quality level of training, services and educational process organization.

Regional office of the Training Center within the SE “SIRC “Registru” was founded on November 25, 2004 and on August 2007 it was reorganized into Regional Department of the Training Center of information and communication technologies and electronic services of the SE “SIRC “Registru”.

The main task of the Regional office is to provide training and retraining of the personnel of the different subdivisions of the SE “SIRC “Registru” and the Ministry of Information Technologies and Communication, which function in the north of the country.

In addition, the Department’s activity includes:

• Computer training of personnel of ministries, institutions and organizations;
• testing of candidates for various positions of the Ministry of Information Technologies and Communication;
• testing of citizens who received training and retraining, as well as skilled professionals who do not have computer usage permission (or with expired-term), but want to get it;
• training courses on the state and foreign languages studying;
• elaboration of training and methodical facilities;
• organization of the Internet common access centers.

The Internet common access centers were established in order to raise awareness of the population in the field of electronic technologies and access to communication and information resources based on the territorial subdivisions of the SE “SIRC “Registru”.

The Internet common access centers are the structural units of the Regional office of Training and methodical Department. Nowadays, such centers exist in Balti and Drochia on the basis of the local Department of registration of transport means and drivers’ qualification.

The main purpose of the Internet common access centers is to provide free Internet access for all citizens, who do not have private access to information resources, as well as to hold training courses for all citizens by means of information and communication resources.

Main tasks of the Internet common access centers:

• Access to the Internet;
• sending and receiving information via e-mail;
• organization of interactive discussions in the forums of the Ministry of Information Technologies and Communication;
• studying of Microsoft Office and Power Point programs.
• training courses on Internet and information technologies.

On the basis of the AMMII licenses No. 024774, issued by the Republic of Moldova License Chamber, Regional Office (North area) provides chargeable short-terms courses on computer technologies and foreign languages for private individuals and corporate customers.
