In order to ensure the participation of citizens with the right to vote in the second round of bashkan elections in the Autonomous Territorial Unit Gagauzia scheduled for December 26, 2010, the Offices of Population Evidence and Documentation in Vulcanesti, Comrat, and Ceadir-Lunga of the Center for State Information Resources “Registru” will operate on December 26, 2010 from 7.00 am till 9.00 pm.

Starting December 21, 2010, citizens of the Republic of Moldova with the right to vote, whose identity cards are invalid, lost or stolen, as well as citizens who have not been issued identity cards earlier, have the possibility to obtain identity cards (series CJ A) free of charge or to expand the validity period of the previously issued ID cards.

Upon the request of citizens, who are not registered at a place of residence/domicile, the Offices of Population Evidence and Documentation in Vulcanesti, Comrat, and Ceadir-Lunga of the CSIR “Registru” will issue a free of charge certificate confirming the last place of residence /domicile registration or depending on the case, its absence.

In order to inform citizens, the working schedule during the holding of the second round of bashkan election is made available in accessible places from administrative-territorial units.
