On July 13, 2010, a group of 15 foreign students, participants in BEST (Board of European Students of Technology) course regarding improvement and update of knowledge within networks programming, held a familiarisation visit at the State Enterprise “State Information Resources Centre „Registru”.

Mr. Vasile Ciornii, Deputy General Director of the enterprise, presented the stages of the enterprise creation and development, demonstrated the interaction among the automated information systems of the enterprise with similar systems of other institutions and organizations through the Retrieval Information System „Acces-web”. Mr. Ciornii also presented the history of identity cards, passports and driving license issuance to the Republic of Moldova citizens.

SE „SIRC ”Registru elaborated the Technical Rule RT 38370656-002: 2006 „Life cycle processes of software products”, which is the basis for creation of AIS of state importance. Every young specialist should be aware of this rule and of the legislation in force regarding electronic document and personal data protection.

The students manifested interest towards the presented information and requested other meetings to discuss in details about the corporative networks of the enterprise and new technologies regarding networks programming.

The BEST (Board of European Students of Technology) summer course, entitled „Communication protocols-how a human can teach computers talk to each other”, takes place on July 11-22, 2010, within the Technical University of Moldova with the participation of students from different European countries.
