Administration of the State Enterprise “State Information Resources Centre “Registru” informs the Republic of Moldova population, that in accordance with the Disposition No. D-13 dated 26.02.2010, since March 23, 2010 all territorial subdivisions of the Directorate of population documentation render services of temporary residence permits (IR/IC) issuance for foreign and stateless people during 5 working days. Previously, such permits could be issued during 30 days.

The residence permit is issued to foreign citizens (IR) and stateless people (IC), who temporarily domicile on the Republic of Moldova territory not more than one year, except citizens of the USA, who are issued residence permits for 60 months, but no longer than the national passport validity term. The USA citizens benefit from this service on the basis of the Agreement signed through exchange of notes between the Governments of the Republic of Moldova and of the United States of America regarding visa regime liberalization, ratified by the Republic of Moldova Parliament through the Law No.86 dated 07.05.2010.

The issuance of temporary residence permits (IR/IC) for foreign and stateless people during 5 working days costs 320 lei.
