Mr. Alexandru Oleinic held a working meeting with the administrators of territorial subdivisions of the Directorate of documentation of vehicles and drivers of the State Enterprise “SIRC “Registru” to discuss the issues faced by this service and set the future tasks.

The Minister mentioned the importance of this Directorate concerning the system of rendering services to the Republic of Moldova citizens, taking into account the value of 65 mln. lei for the volume of services rendered in 2009. Therefore, Mr. Alexandru Oleinic underlined the high level of responsibility, which must be manifested by employees of the Directorate of documentation of vehicles and drivers towards their obligations.

„The attitude towards citizens must be the most responsible and honest. Do not permit the application of certain schemes in your activity, which may leave unpleasant traces over the whole staff and damage the interests of the state we all together represent”, the Minister declared. „I have also mentioned many times that I will not tolerate irresponsibility and violation of legislation within the employees’ activity, regardless of the position of the person”, the Minister mentioned.

Three territorial departments will be created in Cahul, Balti and Chisinau in order to monitor and improve the activity of territorial subdivisions of the Directorate of documentation of vehicles and drivers. Mr. Oleinic specified that during two months, he will visit all the territorial subdivisions of the Directorate.

During 2010, all the examination offices of the territorial subdivisions will be equipped with computers to avoid using questionnaires for examination.

Nowadays, the Directorate of documentation of vehicles and drivers holds 45 territorial subdivisions, only 12 of them being equipped with computers.
