Within the SE “SIRC” Registru” there has been elaborated “The Regulation on issuance of passports of citizen of the Republic of Moldova within diplomatic and consular missions of the Republic of Moldova abroad”.

The Regulation is aimed at facilitating the procedure of issuance of passports of the Republic of Moldova citizens, temporarily staying abroad.

According to the Regulation, the citizens who are abroad are offered the possibility to submit relevant application for passport issuance within diplomatic and consular missions in case of passport validity expiration, its loss or theft outside the Republic of Moldova. In conformity with the procedure stipulated in the Regulation, a standard application is to be filled in, two colored photos 10x15 are to be attached in order to be scanned and transferred to the SE “SIRC” Registru” for further personalization.

The applications are examined within a month.
