Moldovan-Romanian consultations took place at the State Enterprise “SIRC “Registru” with the participation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Ministry of Information Technologies and Communication of the Republic of Moldova, Border Service and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania. The consultations have been aimed at strengthening Moldovan-Romanian cooperation on the accomplishment of Agreement between the Republic of Moldova and Romanian Governments on Small Border Traffic, which had been signed on November 13, 2009 in Bucharest.
During the meeting the parties exchanged opinions regarding present situation on the Agreement implementation, discussing aspects related to border permits and their model approval, the procedure of permit issuance starting from application and till the issuance of small border traffic permit to the applicant. They also emphasised on population information about the advantages of this permit usage, its importance and respect of all norms and restrictions on account of trust and responsibility principle towards society.
Both parties’ representatives decided that a fruitful cooperation among all authorized institutions is necessary in order to successfully accomplish all tasks faced by authorities of the two countries.
