Mr. Oleg Rotaru, Vice Minister of Information Technologies and Communication and the administration of SE „SIRC „Registru” headed by Mr. Vladimir Molojen, General Director, held a working meeting with the representatives of National Health Insurance Company (NHIC), headed by Mr. Mircea Buga, General Director.

The meeting was organized to determine the interaction objectives and modalities in order to continue cooperation relations with NHIC regarding the maintenance and development of Automated Information System (AIS) “Obligatory insurance of medical assistance” (OIMA).

AIS „OIMA” ensures the accomplishment of functions on administration and consultation of databases related to the development of activities of NHIC, territorial agencies and medical services providers within the activity of these agencies regarding the system of obligatory insurance of medical assistance.

Mr. Eugeniu Ursu, Deputy General Director of SE „SIRC „Registru”, presented a short report regarding fulfilments and changes made within this information system and the possibilities of its development and improvement. Thus, a prospect project would be the creation of electronic card of the patient.

At the end of the meeting the parties decided to form a working group with the participation of specialists from the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Information Technologies and Communication, SE „SIRC „Registru” and NHIC to elaborate an action plan related to continuation of cooperation on development and implementation of the Automated Information System “Obligatory insurance of medical assistance”.
