Nowadays the world community actively addresses the perfection of border crossing documents. Passports must correspond to the established recommendations and standards.

Since December 19, 2009, citizens of Serbia, Macedonia and Montenegro, possessing biometric passports, have the right to travel to EU countries visa-free, except Great Britain and Ireland.
