In order to take part in the pre-term elections dated July 29, 2009, the Republic of Moldova citizens need to have perfected identity documents. That is why the Ministry of Information Development and the SE “SIRC ”Registru” inform that the day of July 29, 2009 is announced as working day for the Work group and Departments (Offices) of Population Evidence and Documentation, including the Offices of Reception and Issuance of Urgent Documents No. 1, 2, 3 of the Passports Department of the Population Documentation Directorate, with the following working schedule: 7 a.m.-9 p.m.

At the same time, starting with July 21, 2009 there will be issued requested temporary free of charge identity documents (Form No.9) with a validity term till July 30, 2009 to the Republic of Moldova citizens who have the right of voting and whose identity documents are either invalid or are considered as lost or stolen. Those whose passports are expired will have the possibility to prolong the validity term till July 30, 2009.
